Sard firm has been working in mobile cranes manufacturing field since 1969. the founder Mr. Alberto Dazzi started his business in 1949 as repairer of earth moving machines, either mechanic and electric. The high level experience, the great spirit of enterprise along and customers’ necessities drove him to create a machinery able to lift and handle heavy and encumbrance material in different working fields. It was the year born of SARD, 1967.

Since then, Mr. Alberto Dazzi with the worthy cooperation of few workers set up the production of mobile cranes with different sizes and capacities, intended for local market at first and for nationwide market afterwards. It is clear now why SARD born in Carrara “the world capital of marble” and why thanks to the high quality standard of such cranes expanded the sales outside national borders.

In the years 70’/80’ the staff of SARD growth with the entrance of Mr. Dazzi’s sons that made the company improve its marketing and its technology. The new management well understood the need of  a better marketing of its products. Therefore, new marketing initiative like Milano general trade fair, in mechanical business and the new born “ Marmi Macchine” exhibition in Carrara which saw SARD being also a founder, were started.

The new millennium and the third family generation expanded SARD name in all four continents and nowadays the company is well considered as a leading company in its field.  The production computerization along with advanced technology solutions allowed SARD to reach the acknoledgment and certification UNI EN ISO 9000:2000. As a result of this policy over than 1.200mobile crane are working worldwide.

All our SARD mobile cranes have been developed and manufactured according to the best safety solutions, specially for marble business either marble workshop and loading/unloading bundles into/from box containers. Regarding this topic SARD patented a special fork for high bundles to reduce risks for the operator during loading operations.

SARD models are different in terms of capacity and sizes and can be  diesel or electric powered. According to the customers’ necessities many options like hydraulic winch, hydraulic extension, mechanical extension and special fork can be adapted.
